The following exists as a refutation to the BioLogos Christian Statement which we feel is a shallow and incomplete examination of the issues at hand, and has strayed from the precepts of Christianity, and has subordinated it to scientific authority.
We, the undersigned, join together as Christians, who uphold the authority of God’s Word, state that, though we see earnest scientific inquiry as a tool to understand God’s world, we Christians uphold that flawed human endeavors at scientific inquiry are subordinate to God’s Word in our daily lives, and that God’s Word is the primary driver of those who live their life for Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:35 states: “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”
